Asked whether there were children, of 19 patients, who were tested, the epidemiology of Dr.
Santosh Kumar Mishra said, “Eight of 19 patients under 18 years.” Dr.
Mishra added, “Two migrant workers, both of them were 25 years old, had arrived at Garhwa Train Station from Sagar District in Madhya Pradesh on July 25.
According to their protocol, we have collected their swab samples at the station itself and they were tested positive at 26 July..
As soon as we received a report, we tracked both and claimed to be hospital.
“He said,” On Wednesday, we began contacting the search in the village and collecting 25 samples, which was positively tested.
Until now, we have collected more Of the 200 samples from Haradag Khurd Village for testing.
“Local sources in Garhwa claim that migrant workers do not follow the protocol and they are not in house isolation after they return to the village, which causes infection to spread.
The migrants have provided the wrong contact number to the district health department officials who make it difficult for their department to contact them and thus, delay the contact process of contacts and isolation with 24 hours.
“We have received a test report of two workers on Monday but we cannot trace them until Tuesday because they have given the wrong telephone number,” said a health department official from Garhwa.
