19-year-old engineering students sank at the waterfall in Karnataka

Udupi (Karnataka): In a tragic incident, a 19-year-old engineering student was swept away at the waterfall in Karkala in Udupi Karnataka District, the police said on Tuesday.
According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Varshita, who is studying at a technical college in Manipal in Udupi.
He is a resident of Mangaluru.
The police said the ‘Nitte Arbi Falls’, also known as ‘Parapaddy Falls’, is a tourist destination that attracts many visitors during the rainy season.
“Even though Varshita knew how to swim, he was swept away by a strong current at the waterfall, which led to his tragic death on Monday.
He went with his friends, and when he knew swimming, he took into the water but also plunged into In water.
He can’t hold back the speed of a strong current, “said the police, quoting his friends.
The girl’s body was restored after a long search operation for almost five hours was carried out by fire department and fishermen from the area.
Nitte Arbi Falls is located almost 400 km from Bengaluru.
Because of its beautiful beauty, roaring and endless water flow, Arbi Falls has become a famous tourist destination in Karkala.
The police have registered cases and investigations.
