Chennai: A 19-year-old student has been arrested in Teynampet to be sexually attacked a school girl in a resort in Kovalam after climbing his drink.
Police said the defendant had been identified as Santhosh, Vyasarpadi.
The girl, a 12th grade student, was said to have become her boyfriend.
The incident took place a week ago in Kovalam where Santhosk attended his friend’s birthday party in a beach house along with the victim.
When his friends stepped out after the party, Santhosh spoiled his soft drink and attacked him sexually when he fell unconscious.
While he dropped him back to his house after threatening him not to reveal the attack, the victim told his parents about the incident after the complaint at the All-Women Teynampet police station.
The case is listed under ACT Pocso and Santhosh arrested.
He was returned in judicial custody.
Meanwhile, the police arrested a 60-year-old man for sexual attacks on his stepson.
Venkatesan from Chooolaimedu married the victim’s mother after her first husband left them.
Immediately, Venkatsan began behaving badly with victims, police said.
In another incident, a 37-year-old man was arrested for raping a 17-year-old girl after taking him out for the film.
