1960 Rome Olympian and national soccer coach SS Judge Dead

New Delhi: Syed Shahid Jakim, a former Indian soccer player and the last national team member who played at the 1960 Rome Olympics, died on Sunday at a hospital in Gulbarga, a family source said.
Judge ‘Saab’ because he was known to be popular, 82 years old at his death.
He recently suffered a stroke after that he was hospitalized in Gulbarga.

A former squadron leader of the Indian Air Force, the judge is also a regional director of the Indian Sports Authority and his last assignment is as director of the project responsible for the scouting before the U-17 World Cup FIFA 2017.
