Ara: About 19,000 BHOJPUR farmers have implemented online at the Portal Ministry of Agriculture to sell their rice results through PACS and Vyapar Mandals.
The number of applicants increased by around 3,000 compared to last year with three more days (until November 15) still left for farmers to register online.
“About 16,000 farmers have registered online at the Portal of the Agriculture Department of Agriculture Bhojpur last year to sell their rice harvest.
Their numbers this year have increased to 19,000.
Procurement of rice in Bhojpur will start from November 15 and continue until February 15 next year,” officers BHOJPUR (DCO) District Cooperative Vijay Kumar Singh told this newspaper on Friday.

The last date for online applications for rice sales has been extended from October 31 to November 15.

According to available data until Thursday, 18,806 farmers apply online to sell their rice harvest, where 13,782 is the ‘Gair Raiyats’ while 5024 is raised farmers.
Among them, the maximum farmer came from the Piro block (3,123), followed by Barhara (176).
While 18,054 farmers have applied for rice sales through PACS, 752 has submitted a request for Mandal Vyapar.
A total of 223 purchasing committees have been selected for the procurement of rice in the Bhojpur district.
They include 211 PAC and 12 Mandal Vyapar.
While the price of the minimum support for public rice is RS1.940 per quintal, it is RS1,960 per quintal for the ‘A’ class.
