Bhubaneswar: The physical class for undergraduate and postgraduate students in Odisha for the 2021-22 academic session will begin on November 1 and 15 November after the Covid-19 protocol, said the Ministry of Higher Education on Wednesday.
Hostel facilities will be available for students and Coronavirus guidelines must also be followed there.
This was communicated by the Principal Secretary of the Sasswat Mishra in a letter to the Chancellor of all state universities and principals of government and non-governmental colleges under the department.
“First year class teaching UG and PG first year students (newly recognized) for sessions 2021-22 will start from 01.11.2021 and 15.11.2021 each in physical mode by following the proper Covid-19 prevention protocol,” said Mishra inside the letter.

Mandatory face masks, while social distance must be adopted in classrooms, libraries, laboratories and other places.
Health students must monitor themselves and report diseases must be encouraged, the letter is stated.
The isolation room must be prepared for an emergency, he said.
The department urges private universities under the department to consider following this guideline.
