Coimbatore: City police confiscated 2.2kg marijuana from two men on Sundays when the riders tried to escape, police arrested them and examine the vehicle to find 2.2kg marijuana.
Police identified the driver as Swikstan Fernand, 22, from Nehru Nagar in Ganapathy and M, Gandhipuram.
They seized contraband goods, motorbikes and two cellphones from the duo, ordered below section 8 (c) read with 20 (b) (ii) (b) narcotics drugs and laws of psychotropic substances, 1985.
They returned judicial detention.
