Noida: The Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) on Wednesday resumed its services after a gap of over one month and more than 2,300 people took the Aqua Line to commute.
The NMRC officials informed that the trains will run till Friday and resume on Monday.
There will be no metro services on Saturday and Sunday.
“As many as 2,349 riders took the Aqua Line to commute till 8pm,” an NMRC official.
Services on the corridor were stopped on May 1.
The peak ridership registered by the Aqua Line before the pandemic was around 28,000.
During office hours, metro trains will ply every 15 minutes and for the rest of the day, the interval will be 30 minutes, officials said.
For NMRC, the rush hours are 8am to 11am and 5am to 8pm.
According to NMRC during the peak hours, trains will not stop at sectors 50, 101, 81, 83, 143, 144, 145, 146, 147 and 148.
Also, only one gate will be open for passengers at sectors 101, 81, 137,142, 143, 144, 145, 146, 147 and 148, along with Alpha 1, Delta 1 and GNIDA Office stations.
Two gates will be open at sectors 51, 50, 76 and 83, along with NSEZ, Knowledge Park 2, Pari Chowk and depot stations.
A parking facility will be available at the Sector 51 station.
