Noida: Noida Authority has begun preparation for repairing 2.5km stretches from the Faridabad-Noida-Ghaziabad (FNG) toll road between the Parthala Roundabout and Sector 112.
In addition, about 1 km of road connecting the FNG Expressway with Bibrakh bridges will also be repaired.
Not only does the FNG Expressway stretch in Noida, the authority has waved the tender for RS 3.43 Crore for road repairs in 14 places.
The work will begin in January and is expected to end in March-April, officials said.
“The tender for the stretch of noida from the FNG Expressway repair work has been issued.
We will start working next month and hope to complete it soon.
Since January is the highlight of winter, work will be slow during the period to avoid cracking on the road,” said Mukesh Vaish, Senior Manager (Work circle 6), Noida authority.
Many commuters took the FNG Expressway stretch between the Parthala Roundabout and Sector 112 about four-five sectors away.
This road is broken in various places with holes and is a cause of concern for passengers.
At present, a lot of work at the FNG Expressway on the Ghaziabad side and the Haryana team is delayed.
For this, a proposal began to submit it to the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) by the Noida Authority, but his approval did not come.
“Even two months ago, the proposal hated the government above.
But there has been no movement in this problem.
Meanwhile, the expanse of toll roads that fall in Noida has faced neglect and need improvement, which the authority is doing now,” said an official from the Noida Authority .
Apart from this, the Noida Authority also issued a tender for road repairs in 14 other places.
This includes the construction of a 45-meter road that is parallel to the sector 143 and 143b and repair roads as wide as 75 meters from the DSC road to Noida Expressway.
Furthermore, the road near the eternal plot in Sector 71, the Internal Sector 51 road, and number 2 from the crossing of the Spice Mall in the 25A sector will also be repaired along with the waterways in a dozen villages.
