Letter: Two students, from various city schools, were tested positive for Covid-19 on Friday.
Both schools were ordered to stay closed for four days.
Students and staff will be tested and if there are no further positive cases detected, the school will be left back, officials said.
One class XI Commerce C C c Shah Sarvajanik High School (CCSSHS) trading students in a positively tested parle point in the RT PCR test.
Then, the Ministry of Health conducted tests at 85 students who come into contact with patients in the past few days.
No other students were found positive.
A student of class X Agarwal Vidhya Vihar in the Vesu area was tested positively in a fast antigen test.
The health team puts 71 students, who come directly with positive students, under the test.
But no other students are considered positive.
“In both internal inspection schools are ongoing.
We have ordered two schools to remain closed on Friday and Saturday.
On Monday, our team will conduct tests at school and if no students found positive they will be allowed to operate,” said A health official.
