Jaipur: The body of two unidentified people was found in two separate cases in the area of Shyam Nagar and Brahwaluri here on Wednesday morning.
The first case was reported at Shyam Nagar where the body of an unknown young man was found beside the road.
According to ACP (Sodala) Bhopal Singh Bhati, the deceased cannot be identified.
“It seems to be the case of death due to drug overdoses because of some recovered evidence from the place,” he said.
Bhati put aside the possibility of murder and said the effort was to identify the deceased.
The police said they had found two bottles of syringe-based drugs indicating that he had consumed it in excessive proportions that might cause his death.
In the second case, the body of an unknown man was found floating in Nullah near Brahmpuri, said Brahmpuri Sho Pradeep Singh.
The police suspected that the man tended to die of sinking.
“It’s likely he fell to Nolah and his body was swept to the Brahmpuri area,” he said.
The police said that the deceased might have consumed liquor and fell into Nolah.
Some locals raised the alarm when they saw his body and told the local police about the incident.
Brahwaluri police also said that the man was raised from Nolah and was taken to the hospital where the doctor stated he was taken dead.
The body shifts to the hospital.
“We tried to find out about the whereabouts of the deceased by talking to local around Nolah,” said an official.
