MUMBAI: 2 female celebrities focusing on TV crime shows have been detained allegedly for stealing Rs 3.5 lakh in a apartment at Aarey Colony.
Both, Surbhi Shrivastava and Moina Shaikh, made to flee Delhi, the authorities said.
The incident happened in the previous week of May.
The complainant, Fatima Sayyad, is currently a paying guestwho’d gone from town along with the landlord dropped ill around exactly the identical moment.
Shrivastava and Shaikh that kew him seen his home to test him and remained over for a while.
Afterwards, when Sayyad returned home, she could not locate Rs 3.5 lakh and also filed a police situation on May 29.
“We analyzed the society’s CCTV footage and discovered that the 2 celebrities had entered the construction days past,” said investigating officer Ulhas Kolam.
They have been picked up from the authorities on Wednesday.
“The actors have been to flee Delhi,” explained Kolam.
Approximately Rs 50,000 was regained.
