Ghaziabad: A teacher died, and his friend suffered an injury after a quick pick-up vehicle hit their bikes in the Vijay Nagar area on Thursday night.
When the locals gathered after the incident, they saw that the driver pick-up van was also unconscious and took him to the hospital.
The doctor said Naveen, the driver of the pick-up vehicle, suffered a heart attack and lost control of the vehicle and which caused the accident.
Naveen, a Ghaziabad resident, was shifted to a higher facility in Delhi but he died while undergoing treatment on Friday morning.
Police said the teacher, who was identified as Rajesh Kumar, a vihar Pratap resident returned home with his friend Gaurav, who was riding a billiard and suffering injury.
While Naveen died on Friday morning, Kumar was declared dead on arrival by doctors at Delhi Hospital on Thursday night.
Mahaveer Singh, Sho (Vijay Nagar), told Ti that the accident occurred around 8pm when the driver of the pick-up vehicle suffered a heart attack and crashed into a bicycle and e-rickshaw.
