Gurgaon: The second dose of Sputnik V will be available on the site government session in the city from July 31.
The first dose of Covid-19 vaccine is being given since July 10.
Both doses must have a minimum gap of 21 days.
The Ministry of Health on Wednesday said that he had received 4,800 doses of the B vaccine component, which was the second dose.
“We will give a second shot in the 31st sector of the polyclinic, where the first shot is also given.
There will be a separate counter for the first and second dose,” said Dr.
Virender Yadav, Chief Medical Officer, Gurgaon.
The district on Thursday will vaccinate at 45 government session sites, where 38 will be for covishield, six for Covaxin and one for Sputnik V.
Except for Sputnik V, all other sessions will only provide the second dose.
8,309 people in the age group 18-44 and 3,523 people in the 45-plus category were inoculated on Wednesday.
As many as 39 health care staff and 378 frontline workers also received Jab.
Overall, 12,249 shots – 7,089 first dose and 5.160 second dose – were given a shot on Wednesday.
