2 Emirates flights bound in India avoid collisions; DGCA is looking for a report

New Delhi: With two flights that were bound by India from Emirates last week avoiding a collision at Dubai Airport, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on Friday searched for a report from the UAE authority over the incident.
On January 9, Bouling 777 Bengaluru-bound entered the runway where other B777 began to speed up to Hyderabad.
Fortunately, the latter managed at high speed rejected take off just in time to avoid colliding with another Emirates B777 on the runway.
Because the two planes were registered by the UAE and the incident also occurred in Dubai, the state flight authority would investigate the same thing as the provisions of the International Civil Aviation Organization.
“However, we have asked them to share an investigative report and when it is available,” said a senior DGCA official.
About Clear Shave, an Emirates spokesman said: “On January 9, Flight EK-524 was instructed by air traffic control to refuse to take off on departure from Dubai and this was successfully resolved.
There was no damage to the plane, there was also no injury.
Safety always Become our top priority, and like our incident is conducting our own internal reviews.
This incident is also being investigated by UAE AAIS (air accident investigation sector) and we cannot comment further.
“This is a second nearby shift involving the Emirates flight in the last few days.
