Lucknow: Ghazipur Police (Indiranagar) arrested the defendant for allegedly deceiving a woman and raped him.
The previous police arrested the main defendant in this case.
A woman filed a complaint with the Aliganj police station in November where she was alleged that she was cheated by Navazis bin Shams who turned her identity nearing her.
He lured the victim for a marriage, seized him amounting to Rs 2,49,000 and raped him.
Navazi also introduced the victim to his brother Aasim Ahmad.
ADCP, North Zone, Prachi Singh said police arrested Aasim Ahmad on Monday while the Navazi accused of accusing being arrested before.
In another incident, Aminabad police arrested the allegations of Rajendra Kanajia, 28, on Tuesday for allegedly harassing and breaking sexually underage at a wedding.
