City: Jhalawar police arrested 35 people for peace violations on Saturday night and 12 people on Sundays due to damaging public property and efforts to kill by firing livestock.
Many accused of this problem have not been arrested in two villages at the Asnawar police station.
At least 10 people and four policemen suffered sustainable injuries after two Lodha groups and the Gurjar community in the villages adjacent clashes by throwing stones and opening fire with each other after a fight erupted among them muddy livestock on the land of Central Police in the Area Police State On Saturday afternoon.
A fight between Lodha and Gurjar groups in Gadheria Mehar Village and Ruppura have erupted due to grazing livestock on forest land near their village after they pelted the rocks with each other and some of them opened a shot with Harwant Singh hunting weapons, Harwant said Randhawa.
At least 10 people from the two groups suffered injuries to stingy stones and shoots and they rushed to a local hospital from where they were referred to the SRG hospital in the city of Jhalawar on Saturday night, he said he added no one who was injured critically.
Meanwhile, four policemen also suffered a sustainable injury in the incident and one of the police identified as Ramkishore suffered a bullet injury to one of his arms, who further said adding a police van, which reached the point to control the situation too.
The police ordered around 35 people, including 18 identified to damage public property and disrupted the government’s function under Section 353, 332 and arrested 12 defendants on Sunday, said DSP Asnawar Singh.
Singh said, 35 other villagers from the two villages on Saturday night were arrested for violating public peace.
In reports by 10 injured people, the police also submitted a separate case under Section 307 on 12 people identified from a group and investigation into this problem, he added.
