2 held for vehicles stoned on the fast track

Vadodara / anand: drunks leave commuters through Ahmedabad-Vadodara Expressway who are busy for their lives during the celebration season earlier this month.
Anand’s countryside police on Wednesday beat two to throw stones moving along Anand’s stretch of the toll road on November 2.
According to the police, the duo pounded the rocks when they were suspected of being drunk.
“It was drunk of drunkenness.
They challenged each other but they later became afraid of that place.
Our team beat them based on CCTV recordings and tips from the locals regarding their involvement,” said Anand District Supervisor from Police Ajit King.
The defendant was identified as Khapil Pasaya (36) and Sanjay Vasava (35) were Indiranagari residents near the Gopi Talkies area in Anand.
The duo had told the police that because they did not have the job that day, they were drunk and then pelted the stones in the vehicle that passed the toll road.
Stone plaphs but leaving many fearful passengers when the movement of the vehicle is at its peak during the celebration season.
Stone shooters have damaged the windshield of several vehicles.
Police Anand Rustic has registered complaints under the 308 part of the IPC to throw stones in four cars and three trucks near Railway Overbridge 18 near Samarghha Crossway.
