Ranchi: Acting to a tip-off, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) on Friday evening detained two individuals for selling imitation RT-PCR evaluation reports to passengers travel flights in Birsa Munda International Airport.
The accused had been identified as Md Ali out of Ranchi and also Md Nasim in Chatra district.
Even a CISF crime wing officer on condition of anonymity said,”CISF had obtained advice regarding individuals moving across the airport to goal passengers that have received without RT-PCR test accounts, that are compulsory for traveling flights.
They were largely targeting employees leaving to their location of occupation ” A CISF’s staff faking for passenger approached Ali stating he had a Covid unwanted report.
Ali took 1,000 from him assured that the report will be given in 30 minutes.
Even as many CISF personnel were awaiting the area in plain clothing to nab him , Ali obtained a clue about their existence and attempted to slide away.
CISF captured the accused following a brief chase.
Nasim, who had been standing a bit out, was also captured as CISF staff had discovered that if Ali chose a call from his cellular phone Nasim was picking up his cell phone.
The detained persons were given over to the airport police station for additional action.
Authorities said the accused men confessed to their offense through the interrogation that was ran by senior officers.
The accused was able to alter dates and names from the format of earlier RT-PCR reports and provide print out to passengers.
