2 Kapurthala men were killed in high-speed accidents

Patna: Two Male Kapurthala was killed after a multi-utility vehicle (MUV) where they traveled flying out of the NH-57 and fell into a ditch in a few feet near Hanuman Nagar in Benibad in Muzaffarpur on Sunday.
The police said that the Punjab registration number that gave birth to MUV, flipped several times before coming to rest in a ditch in 30 feet next to the highway and crushed beyond recognition.
They also said that as it was the speed of the vehicle the two residents were removed from there for a few feet when it was upside down.
The point of accident fell below the Gaighat police station area at Muzaffarpur.
The person who died was identified as Jageshwar Shah was around 50 years old and Kapildev Kumar, around 30 years old.
The police said Jageshwar was the native population of Mast Nagar in Narang Shahpur while Kapildev was a resident of Jalan number two in New Mansadevi Nagar, both in the Satnampura area in the city of Phagwara Kapurthala, Punjab.
Mithilesh Jha’s Sub-Inspector Assistant from the Benibad Outpost Police who is one of the first police personnel to reach in place said that the accident occurred around 6am.
Jha said that the place in NH where the accident took place departing.
“Looks like Kapildev, who is on the wheel, drives at high speed and fails to see the turn or may fall asleep at that time because the vehicle goes straight into the ditch,” he said.
He said Kapildev was killed in place and villagers who had gathered there, rushed Jageshwar to the Gaighat Primary Health Center.
“Seeing critical conditions, the doctor referred him to Skmch but he died on the road,” he said.
ASI said the police managed to contact the owner of the Balwindar Kaur vehicle at the Kapurthala who said Kapildev was his close friend and he had started on Friday night to go to Purnia.
“Balwindar said Kapildev traveled to bring his wife and children to Kapurthala.
The purpose of Jageshwar’s trip is still unclear.
Balwindar and other family members of the two deceased are on our way to Muzaffarpur,” he said.
ASI says the body has been preserved after post-mortem.
