Chandrapur: Two people were killed and 12 were seriously injured after a passenger bus that was quickly collided directly with a truck that came from the opposite direction near the Ratnamala Field in Waror at Chandrapur-Nagpur National Highway on Friday night.
The deceased includes vehicle drivers, while injured is learned to become a bus passenger.
There are 35 passengers on the bus.
Passengers who were saved said the driver of the Sabir Khan bus was driving at a breakneck speed and did not heed them to slow down.
Khan lost control near the Ratnamala box and the bus hit an electric pole on the road divider, before hitting the truck, they said.
The front cabin of the bus and the truck turned into a stack of destroyed metal.
The police must use excavators and cranes to separate them.

The identity of the truck driver who has died is unknown.
The gas cutter must be used to solve the metal panel on the side of the bus to save two passengers identified as Saraswati Dahuly and Prachi Bagade.
Other injuries have been identified as Bhojraj Bagar, Santosh Garghate, Praveen there, Seema Borekat Pranali Kuaski, Sangeeta Kubde, Sanjana Galang, Suraj Dhote, Anita Purke and Rukhmabai Purke.
They have all been treated at Chandrapur GMCH.
Ayush Nopani Sub-Division (SDPO) police officers and police inspectors, Warora, Deepak Khobragade rushed to place along with the police team.
Rescue operations last for more than one hour.
Traffic on the road is blocked for more than two hours.
The Minister of Rehabilitation of the State and Minister of Guards Vijay Wadettiwar was in Nagpur when the report about the accident reached him.
He immediately called collectors, SDOs and civil surgeons to provide necessary assistance and medical care to injured people.
