NEW DELHI:”Two small boys were hurt after they were hit by a vehicle while they were enjoying in outside Delhi’s Sultanpuri region, authorities said Friday.
The youngsters, aged three and five, were declared at Safdarjung hospital.
One of these was discharged from hospital while another remains under therapy and will likely be discharged shortly,” explained Parvinder Singh, deputy commissioner of Authorities (Outer).
“The incident happened on Thursday if the boys had been playing in a vacant plot in which taxpayers usually park their automobiles,” police said, including that the accused driver absconded with their own car.
“Preliminary evaluation indicated that the motorist had left his car in the storyline and while shooting it out, the automobile hit the 2 kids leaving them hurt,” the police officer stated.
“A case was filed under IPC Section 279 (reckless riding or driving on a public manner ) and Part 337 (causing harm by act endangering life or personal safety of other people ),” he explained.
“CCTV footage in the place was taken and hunt to the accused and the car is in advance,” he added.
