Miami Beach: The police were investigating after two bodies found on Wednesday at a South Florida Hotel which was once the mansion of the Gianni Versace deceased fashion designer.
Miami Beach police and saving fire responded Wednesday afternoon after housekeeping at Villa Casa Casuarina found dead people in a room, officials said.
The scene contained into a hotel room and detective had launched an investigation of death, police said.
Officials do not identify men or how they die.
Thursday marked the 24-year anniversary of the Fatal Versace shooting outside the South Coast landmark.
On the morning of July 15, 1997, Versace returned home from the news cafe, just a few blocks from the Ocean drive mansion.
Like Versace began to climb the stairs to his house, the serial killer Andrew Cunanan was shot by Versace in the head.
Cunanan, suspected of killing another four men, committed suicide with a boat house eight days after the Versace shooting.
Casa Casuarina was built in 1930 and was bought with Versace in 1992.
It has been operating as a boutique hotel since 2015.
