Bareilly: Two men were found dead with gunshot wounds in the Baheri area here, police said on Sunday.
Prima Facie, they said it seemed that one person shot another dead and then took his own life.
Senior Senior Police Supervisor of Rohit Singh Sajwan said Rajesh Kumar Singh (35) and Rohitash Kumar (50) came to Bahi in the district on Saturday to sell wood.
When the duo did not reach their home at night, family members began to look for them on Sunday morning.
SSP said that Rajesh’s body was found near a temple in Khagainagar Village, while Rohitash was found dead in the nearest rice fields.
Rajesh’s body bears the bullet wound, while Rohitash suffered a bullet injury on his forehead, said Sajwan, added that the prime facie seems to be one person who died of suicide after killing another.
The body has been sent for post-mortem.
He added that all corners in this case were truly investigating.
