Gurgaon: The Ministry of Forestry, along with the Corporation Municipal Faridabad (MCF), destroyed two illegal farming houses in Aravalis in Ankhir Village on Wednesday.
About five illegal farm houses have emerged in Ankhir since March and 25 hectares of forest land have been interrupted.
No non-forest activities were permitted in the area, because it fell below Section 4 and 5 of the Punjab Land Protection Act (PLPA), 1900.
The department has destroyed the two structures earlier this week in the same area in this area.
The move occurred after the Supreme Court on July 23 ordered the MCF not to release illegal structures in Aravalis, including agricultural houses, commercial companies, and religious structures, during the ongoing demolition journey in Khori Village.
“We have carried out demolition at Ankhir at this time.
Some illegal structures have emerged in the Aravali area in recent months.
Demolition’s encouragement is being carried out together by the Ministry of Forestry and MCF.
We will flatten more illegal structures in Ankir in the coming days,” said Division Forest Officer Faridabad Raj Kumar.
This is the same area where a forest guard is allegedly hit by several men in July last year.
The guard examined the forest area in Ankhir due to encroachment when he noticed that a wall had been built illegally there.
He took a photo of construction when a group of men carrying the stick approached him and struggled, according to the Ministry of Forestry.
A pine has been submitted on November 11, 2019 after complaints by the department about similar events.
Last year, Faridabad district judges had ordered the dismantling of illegal structures in Ankhir twice.
Found at least 15 sites have been occupied and the structure illegally has also been built on them.
The area where most encroachment was found was Ankhir, Badkal and Mangar.
According to sources, three years ago, the MCF Commissioner has prepared a list of 144 encroachment in Aravali and the Ministry of Forestry has also sent a list of encroachment on more than 500 hectares by around 92 individuals.
This list is sent to the district administration to act; However, there is no big action taken.
