Mumbai: The investigation has begun against two sub-supervisors of the Mokhada police station, Ganesh Targe and Mangesh Munde, accused of extorting around RS 2 Lakh from a tribal farmer carrying a bull.
The welfare of the Sanghatana NGO tribe said the police were extorted from Gopinath Khutade but then returned money, the action was afraid.
The head of the NGO, former Mla Vivek Pandit, said other tribes had complained of two sub-supervisors.
