Noida: Two workers have died at Greater Noida which is suspected of shortness of breath while working in a tank in a petrochemical company, police said on Wednesday.
A pine has been submitted for the incident that took place in the Kasna Police Station area on Tuesday night, said the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Greater Noida) Visal Pandey.
“Four workers were sent to the tank in the Jagdamba Petrochemical Factory at the location of 5 Kasna regions.
In the tank, they fell unconscious due to the presence of gas.
The local police were told about it after that the four were pulled out of the tank,” Pandey said.
“While two of them realized again, the other two were not and were rushed to a private hospital nearby.
However, the doctors there said the two workers were dead,” the police said.
On the basis of complaints by the victim’s family, a FIR has been submitted to the Kasna Police Station under the relevant parts of the law and investigation launched, he said.
There were no arrests made in cases until Wednesday night, according to officials.
