Lucknow: Two of every three people who qualified in Uttar Pradesh have taken at least one dose of Covid-19 vaccine with the country reaching a 10-crore milestone in partial immunization.
The closest competitor of the nearest Maharashtra has almost 7 crores who are vaccinated by some people.
According to reports from Cowin Portal are updated at 9pm, 10.02 Crore or 100 million people above have taken the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
It speaks for achievement of more than 67% of the 15.04 crore target.
This means that two of the three people who qualify in this country are now partially vaccinated.
The total number of doses provided in the country reaches 13.60 crore while the total number of people who are fully vaccinated is 3.57 crores.
Health officials urge people from the country to get themselves vaccinated the earliest in the interests of individual and social.
They also advised people to comply with the prevention protocol of Covid-19 as a risk of pandemic infection and its complications remained high despite decreasing cases.
Meanwhile, 14 new cases and six recovery were reported in the last 24 hours.
The death of one person also recorded in the same duration took the total coron of the Coronavus to 22,904.
The official bulletin also indicates that the state is left with 92 active cases in 32 districts.
Nearly 62% of cases are in six districts including Gautam Budh Nagar, Lucknow and ProAgraj.
Health officials added that 43 free Covid districts.
