Woodlawn: Two Baltimore police officers on duty at the US Marshals task force were shot and injured Tuesday while serving a warrant outside the mall, the authorities said.
Initial information is that their injury does not threaten the lives, according to law enforcement officials, which cannot discuss the ongoing investigation publicly and speak to AP in anonymity.
The shooting took place on Tuesday morning in the Security Square Mall area in Woodlawn, Baltimore County police said.
The police did not immediately release information about the condition of the suspect.
The shooting scene video in the parking lot was flowed in WMAR-TV and it seemed to show a pickup truck with a bullet hole in the driver’s side window and the windshield.
Police Baltimore Tweeted that the police commissioner responded to the trauma shock at the University of Maryland Medical Center.
