2 Pakistani troops were killed in a post at a post near Afghanistan

Peshawar: Militants in Afghanistan shot across the border at the Pakistani military post in the former local Taliban fortress, killing two soldiers, Pakistani military said Wednesday.
The cross-border firefight took place in the North Waziristan district in Khyber Province Pakhtunkhwa northwest of the country, the military said in a statement.
It did not say when the attack occurred, but Pakistani troops responded appropriately, without describing.
It is not clear whether there are victims of militants.
The military condemned the continuation of the use of Afghan land for terrorist activities on the ‘Pakistani army, said Pakistan consistently asked Kabul to ensure effective border control on his side.
The North Waziristan served as Pakistani Taliban headquarters until the military secured it in 2015 with a series of operations.
However, militant attacks are isolated in such troops and cross-border violence continued, raising fears of Pakistani Taliban to regroup in the region bordering Afghanistan.
Pakistani Taliban, also known as Pakistani Tehreek-e-Taliban, is a separate rebel group from the Taliban Afghanistan, although Pakistani militant groups are often related to those who cross the border.
