NEW DELHI: The Delhi government on Thursday set a 13-member committee to organize an action plan for a potential third wave of Covid-19 following assessing the present status and estimated requirement of their health infrastructure including hospitals, gas plants and medication supplies in town.
The other eight-member expert committee was set up to devise a plan for management and reduction of this next wave of Covid-19.
The committees will be chaired by IAS officer Satya Gopal, ACS (Power) and nodal officer (COVID-19).

The 13-member committee will”evaluate the current status and estimated necessity of the various verticals of wellness infrastructure such as hospitals, and oxygen plants, and medication supplies and prepare an action strategy for its Third Wave”, an order issued by the health division said.
The eight-member specialist committee was tasked with devising a strategy for mitigating the effects of the third tide and preparation necessary for the specialised needs of youngsters of town.

The committee was requested to analyse the information tendencies, experiences of different cities throughout the world and run infantry exercises to predict and forecast the beginning of such waves and also the changing/mutating nature of this virus, the health department said in another purchase.
