Patna: The Vijay Kumar Sinha State Assembly speaker on Thursday said two policemen Patna Concistables – Sheshnath Prasad and Ranjit Kumar – have been suspended on recommendations from the main secretary and additional DGP for their rude and rough behavior with MLAS on the floor.

Sinha said the Secretary of the Head of the Department of the State House and the DGP was asked on March 23 to investigate the rough and rough behavior of the police and also took the necessary actions against them.

After being sent, the next step will be taken in connection with MLA which is erred,” said the speaker.
“Rough police behavior and not dignified with selected representatives will not be tolerated,” Sinha said, adding such behavior tarnished the executive and legislative image.
On March 23, a police officer was seen beating MLA outside his room.
Other MLA was beaten outside Portico from the assembly building.
The speaker said police personnel at each level had to refrain from indulgence in rude and dignified behavior with MLA, because they were elected representatives.
