2 Positive tests after death, 1 Added to Nagpur Covid Toll

Nagpur: Two men, aged 47 and 62, were declared dead in government medical colleges and hospitals (GMCH) between January 6 and 10.
Covid tests were carried out in the body according to the protocol, and they were tested positive.
The District Health Office (DHO) has added one of these deaths to Covid victims of Nagpur City on Tuesday.
It is not clear why only one death is added.
The head of the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) medical officer Dr.
Sanjay Chilkar said that the 47-year-old was not a covid patient who was active.
“He died of a heart attack on Monday.
RT-PCR the results of the body sample became positive on Tuesday.
Other patients also have several reasons for non-covid deaths, but his body was tested positive,” he said.
Dr.
Chilkar confirmed that the count of death will be reconciled with official data.
Dr.
Madhuri Thorat, holding back the cost of a civil surgeon, did not answer Ti’s call.
The Covid District toll road moved to 10,124 on Tuesday.
August 12 may be the last time a Covid patient actively from the city surrendered to this disease.
A relative to tell Tii a 62-year-old man used to work in the canteen at the GMCH.
“He was sick but he was not a covid patient, even though his body sample was tested positive.
The last rite was carried out by NMC in front of us,” relative words.
The GMCH Pulmonology Department official was too confirmed that there were no patients from Ward Covid who had died there this month.
Civil officials said the forensic department had told DHO, which was ‘wrong’ adding it to the toll road.
“When the deceased is a population of the city and Covid a public health problem, NMC is a nodal body to declare Covid’s death,” they said.
Forensic department officials said they had tested RT-PCR and quick antigens on bodies since the pandemic began.
“None of the positively tested bodies when the case fell.
This month, some of them have been tested positively.
The 47-year-old player was declared dead after a heart attack.
We handed the body to NMC after being tested positive,” said a professor.
Meanwhile, the district continued to witness a high number of cases, with 799 reported on Tuesday.
Private hospitals have recorded the death of a chandrapur resident earlier this month.
11 January has recorded 5,309 cases, more than those registered in that month between June and December.
