2 routes for connecting logistics, transportation hub with airport

Greater Noida: The authority of the large Noida Industrial Development (Gnida) has prepared a blueprint for two routes that connects the integrated industrial city in the Delhi-Mumbai corridor with noida airport in the valuation.
The first route will branch out of the logistics hub through the GT Road and Eastern Peripheral Expressway (EPE), which leads to Yamuna Expressway and Noida Airport.
For this, the 2.5km path that is connected to the GT road will be eliminated from two lines that exist up to six.
It will also have underpasses.
“It will provide seamless access to heavy vehicles from the logistics hub.
Lanes will be widened to six so that there is no traffic jam in the area,” said Patanjali Dixit, Corporate Secretary in IITGNL (Integrated Industrial Township Greater Noida Limited).
According to Dixit, the underpass will be built near the University of Shiv Nadar.
Commercial vehicles from the logistics center will be able to reach the Yamuna toll road from BEEL Akbarpur Interchange.
The second route is planned from the transportation center via Jalan 130m from Sansa Interchange on EPE.
“Interchange will come near Dankur to connect EPE with Yamuna Expressway.
From there, the vehicle will be able to go to Noida Airport,” Dixit said.
Working on putting the road, he said, will go with logistics and transportation hubs that tend to operate in 4-5 years.
“In total, three major projects were being developed as part of the DMIC in Greater Noida.
The first is an integrated city (IITGNL), the second is a multi-capital transportation hub (MMTH) and the three multi-capital logistics hubs (MMLH).
We have Prepare a plan for these projects to connect not only domestically, but abroad also through the airport.
It will facilitate easy movements from other countries and attract foreign investment.
The connectivity plan is ready and they will soon be implemented, “said Narendra Bhoooshan, Gnida CEO and IITGNL implementing director.
These projects, said Bhooshan, are expected to provide employment opportunities directly to around two lakh youths.
“The DPR from multimodal and logistical transportation hubs has been sent to the government.
As soon as approval comes, the tender will be issued and the work will begin.
The target is to develop transportation hubs and logistics for the next three years.
This will change the appearance of the surrounding area,” he added.
