Lucknow: Two smugglers, who were arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) to bring psychotropic substances, punished by a local court in Bahraich.
Nanku Sahu and Sahu Sahu was arrested by NCB in Bahraich in August 2016.
The five kg drug was restored from them.
Special Judges, NDPS Law, Nitin Pandey also imposed a fine of RS 1 Lakh each in Nanku and inboiled.
In another case, NCB on Thursday captured Rajput and Sabha Khan with 240 grams of Alprazolam powder and RS 30,000 cash in Lucknow-Kanpur Road.
“Efforts now to capture recipients and suppliers of drugs confiscated,” said an NCB official.
