Chittapur Range Forest Officer Vijaya Kumar told Ti that the hunt took place on October 27 in the village of Mallabad Sedam Taluk from Kalaburagi District.
“Three hunters come from Hyderabad and two are local guides.

We verify the claim.” Deputy Division Kalaburagi forest conservator MM Vanathi said the incident occurred on non-forest land on the border of Karnataka-Telangana.
“Blackbucks deviate from the forest into the nearest private land.
We check whether the trio has a hunting history,” he said.

We did not plan to send him to forensic laboratories,” he said.

“Because the licensed weapons are misused, the police can still order a separate case under ARM.
However, the police did not submit to us every cellphone,” he said and added that Panamaama was the right seizure.

Two locals – Hanumanth and Venkatesh from Chandapur, Sedam were also arrested.
