Nagpur: Two senior South East Central Railway (SECR) officials have been ordered because of alleged sexual abuse in complaints by 57-year-old Dialit women employees at the police station conscious on Friday.
The police have also requested part of the scheduled caste and the scheduled tribes (prevention of atrocities) acting against the two officials after he accused the mental torture by the official from the backward class.
Commercial Manager Senior Division (SR DCM) Vikas Kumar Kashyap and Assistant Division Commercial Manager (ASST DCM) Avinash Kumar Anand is charged under the Indian Criminal Code (IPC) part 354a for sexual harassment and part 294 to use rough language, among others.
The Dalit woman first filed a complaint with officials in September after meeting CP Amitesh Kumar.
In September, TOI has published a complaint of a Dalit woman to the police.
The Dalit woman claimed in her complaint that she was repeatedly called to Kashyap and Anand.
He claimed Kashyap behaved badly with him on June 15 while Anand called on his cellphone in August, and used condescending words because he was hospitalized.
In accordance with the FIR, officials will try to call him close to them with a job pretext, and with science trying to establish body contact.
He mentioned that officials would throw paper to the ground and asked him to take it.
Senior Inspector Police Station Vinod Choudhury said the violation was registered after the train ended the investigation of the Vishakha Committee, without telling the police about the probe.
Initially, Zonal DCP Vinita had also called the train officials concerned to record a statement after complaints by Dalit women, who were also received in hospitals due to mental trauma.
He also released a video clip stating senior officials would be responsible if he took drastic steps due to extraordinary mental suffering.
In his code he had mentioned his intention to end life because of torture that was unrelenting.
In September, TOI had approached Kashyap for his version, and he had denied all the charges.
