Lucknow: Technical University of APJ Abdul Kalam (TIME) has relieved two teachers of all inspection-related tasks for three years after they were accused of harassing female students during the semester exams ongoing online.
The University has issued show cause notices to teachers, one from the Institute of Pharmacy in Azamgarh and the other from a technical college in Meerut.
The action came Thursday night after a student from Meerut shared a screenshot of the message (sent by the accused teacher) in social media and invoke action.
Responding to the complaint, secretary, technical education, Alok Kumar confident of suspension.
A few hours later, TIME tweeted: “The case of harassment of a student by a teacher on duty proctorial has been lit during the exam.
Department of Investigation has been noted and relieve the teacher who was accused of all tasks related to the inspection.
Fights concerned have been requested to initiate the suspension process and presents a report to disciplinary action within 24 hours.
“Aktu Purchure Controller Anurag Tripathi issued a show cause of Notices to Teachers – Azimuddin of Rahul Sankrityayan College of Pharmacy, Azamgarh, and Sandeep Kumar of Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology, Meerut – Searching for an explanation of them, while took them out of the exam three years.
While Sandeep Kumar filed a complaint against the social media, in the case of Azimuddin, the complainant said that he was sending a message that is not relevant to distract and annoy him unacceptable.
“It also consumes precious minutes of time given to me.
Messages like that of Proctor made me risk during the examination,” said the complainant.
