2 terrorists killed in a meeting with security forces at J & K’s Baramulla

Srinagar: Two terrorists were killed in an overnight meeting with security forces in the Sopore Jammu area and Kashmir Baramulla District, police said on Friday.
Security forces launched the Cordon-and-Search operation in the Warpora Sopore region on Thursday, following information about the existence of ultras there, a police officer said.
“During home-to-home search, the location of the terrorists was established and they were asked to give up.
However, they refused the offer,” the official said.
He said search operations turned into a meeting after the terrorists began shooting to the position of security forces, who were returned.
“Two terrorists are neutralized in operations, which are carried out without collateral damage,” the official said.
Inspector General of Police, Kashmir Zone, Vijay Kumar congratulated the security forces for a successful operation.
“One of the Fakez Wars #Terrorist who was killed was involved in several attacks & #killings civilians / SFS.
He is the last #PerPetrator of #idensi in #Northkashmir,” Kumar said as in the official Twitter handle of the Jammu Police and Kashmir.
