Srinagar: Two unknown terrorists were killed in a meeting with security forces in the residential area of the city on Friday, police said.
Security forces launched Cordon and search cable in Danmar, falling along the Safakadal-Soura Road, here early on Friday after information about the presence of terrorists, a police officer said.
He said the search operation turned into a meeting after the terrorist opened opening fire on the position of the official security forces.
Two terrorists were killed in the next shot, the official said, added the identity and affiliate group from the terrorist who was killed as confirmed.
