Mumbai: Malwani Police recently arrested two local reporter for extortion.
The duo has threatened the population of Malwani that they will upload a fake news story about him on their YouTube channel if he doesn’t pay a decent amount.
The complainant, Faizan Siddiqui, approached the police.
“The two journalists demanded Rs 2 lakh from Siddiqui.
This number is offered to RS 80,000.
The Duo then summoned Siddiqui with the first installment of Rs 20,000 in cash,” said a police officer.
