2 UPRF militants killed in encounter in Karbi Anglong

By: Mukut Das GUWAHATI: Two Associates of United People’s Revolutionary Front (UPRF), a Kuki militant outfit, Had Been killed in an encounter with the police in Jolen village Beneath the Manja police station in Karbi Anglong district of This Country Sunday.

It’ll be effective from November 11, 2020.” Before, UPRF chairman Martin Guite was murdered in a police in Singhasan Hill of this mountain area On October 6.
Back in May this year, six Dimasa National Liberation Army (DNLA) militants were killed in an encounter with security forces in Misibailam region in Karbi Anglong district.
The group is mainly occupied in Dima Hasao and Karbi Anglong districts of Assam and several sections of neighboring Nagaland.
