2 weeks after stopping as governor, Baby Rani Maurya appointed the BJP National Vice President

Agra: Two weeks after resigning as Governor of Uttarakhand, Baby Rani Maurya was appointed as National Vice President by BJP together with Dilip Ghosh, which was dropped as Head of West Bengal Party on Monday.
“My main goal is to fulfill the responsibilities given to me by my organization.
I have done my duty with full dedication, both as a member of the National Commission, as a mayor or as a governor.
I will continue to do it,” Maurya told Tii after the announcement .
“I’m glad the party has given me a position that is so important.” Without a political line, Maurya, 65, worked in the party ranking for decades.
He was the first Dalit Woman to become Mayor of Agra in 1995 as a BJP candidate.
After holding the position for five years, he served at the Women’s National Commission from 2002 to 2005 before being appointed as Governor of Uttarakhand in 2018.
In the party, he was appointed as an office carrier for SC Nath Kovind was heading at that time – in 1997.
He too Compete for the 2007 assembly selection of ETMATMA as BJP candidates but disappear with narrow margins to Narayan Singh BSP.
He tends to be a face of Dalit in the election of assembly next year.
With two promises on Monday, BJP now has 13 national vice presidents.
