Gurugram: Two workers are buried still alive at the construction site in the sector 56 areas when mud from a side by side falling on them when they dig for the basement, the police here said on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Malkhan (28) and his brother-in-law Guddo (26), both indigenous people of Galan District Chattarpur in Madhya Pradesh, they said.
Both live as tenants in sector 23 and work as laborers, they said.
A pine was submitted by the police on the complaint of a man named Raj Kumar, who came from the same village as the victims.
According to complaints, the victims have worked at the construction site at the D-323 plot in Sector 56 since last week.
On Wednesday night when they were busy doing work digging in the basement, mud from a side by side sneaking and fell on them, said Raj Kumar in his complaint, according to the police.
“Both were buried in mud.
Other workers rushed to the Hospital W Pratiksha where the doctor said they were taken dead,” he said.
“It happened only because of the negligence of the capil contractor and plot owner.
Both of them left small children,” he said.
Following complaints, a FIR was registered with the contractor and the owner of the plot below 304a (death due to negligence) and 34 (general intentions) from the Criminal Code to the Sector Police Station 56.
“We handed the bodies to relatives after post corpses today.
We verify Facts and actions will be taken according to the law, “said Sub Inspector Sri Bhagwan, an investigative officer.
