Thane: A two-year-old boy who accidentally locked himself on his third floor, flat reunited with his mother, officials said.
The civil rescue team rose through the window using the fire brigade stairs to save the boy, officials said.
Santosh Kadam from the cell Disaster Management area Thane said that the incident occurred in the housing police staff in the city on Thursday morning when the mother of the toddler went to the terrace to dry clothes.
“The boy was alone and he accidentally locked the door from inside and could not open it when his mother returned.
The woman who was hit by a panic warned the police rescue team and the city rushed to the place and entered the house through the window using the fire brigade.
