20 injured when the Bengal-Bound Bus fell to the ditch on Dhanbad

Sindri: Twenty pilgrims suffered minor injuries after the West Bengal bus, they traveled to fall into the roadside trenches on GT Round near Ambon more in Dhanbad District on Friday.
This bus carried 68 pilgrims to West Bengal after their tour to Ayodhya, Vrindavan and Varanasi at Uttar Pradesh.
The incident occurred around 2am on Friday.
The bus driver has stopped the vehicle when several men request donations of Puja Durga.
However, the bus came to a stop on the slope and started rolling and falling into a ditch within 10 feet on a side street.
Most passengers were fast asleep when the incident occurred.
As soon as the passenger lifts alarm and starts asking for help, the party patrolling police reaches the place and attracts them all.
“Twenty passengers who suffered minor injuries were sent to Dhanbad Medical College from where they were released after primary treatment.
Police Govindpur set them back to Nadia by another bus,” said Govindpur police station in-charge Umesh Prasad Singh.
The Amar Sub-division police officer Amar Kumar Pandey said: “The Stern Action will begin with the men who stop the vehicle at GT Road for Puja donations.”
