Kunar: A total of 20 terrorists were killed when the plane fought hit the trouble and the position of the Taliban in the district of Ghazi in Kunar Timur Afghanistan for the last 24 hours, said the Afghan army on Friday.
Meanwhile, eight terrorists suffered injuries in air strikes during the period, the army said in a statement.
The statement said that security and defense forces would continue to target terrorists elsewhere in this country.
Air strikes also killed six terrorists and injured four others in the Chamtal district in the North Balkh Province on Thursday.
Over the past few weeks, Afghanistan has witnessed a surge in violence when the Taliban had intensified his attack on Afghan forces and civilians with a full setback of foreign troops just a few weeks.
The Taliban now controls about half of 419 centers of district in Afghanistan, and while they have not arrested one of the 34 provincial capitals of the country, said General Mark Milley, Chair of the Joint Chief of Staff.
