Ludhiana: Police on Saturday arrested a 24-year-old man for allegedly hitting and harassing a 20-year-old neighbor for feeding wild dogs in Meharban.
The woman said she was an animal lover, who fed wild dogs even though there was an objection of her neighbor.
He said on Saturday when he feeded the dog outside his home, the defendant began to abuse him, said the defecating animal in front of their homes.
When he did not stop feeding them, the defendant began to beat him, push him and he fell, he said.
After that, the defendant kicked his stomach several times.
When he heard his shout when people gathered, he escaped, he added.
Then, the woman filed a police complaint.
