Ulhasnagar: A 20-year-old man was killed by five people over the old dispute in Ulhasnagar on Friday afternoon.
The victim has been identified as Sushant Gaikwad aka Guddu aka Ravan, and has seven cases registering against him, the police said to handle the media.
The main accusation was accused of Akash Shinde aka Chintya (26) also a criminal record and he was involved in nine cases.
Harshal Rajput police sub-inspector said that both of them were friends and they were jointly accused of three cases.
People accused of stabbing Gaikwad near Netaji Chowk with a knife and escaped from the place, police said.
Then, the locals saw the injured Gaikwad and told the local Hill Line police who rushed to the central hospital.
However, he gave up on injury during treatment.
Meanwhile, within a few hours after the incident, the police managed to resolve this case by arresting five accused.
A police officer from the Budit line police said, “We have solved the case and arrested the fifth accused of being involved in the murder of the old competition.
Previously, Gaikwad lived in Ulhasnagar and last month, he had shifted to Badlapur.
