Ahmedabad: The Gujarat High Court on the Jaja day rejected the Bail Application of Godman Godman Asaram who was imprisoned in a rape case submitted to Him by a woman in 2013.
While rejecting the beak of the guarantee after the objection submitted by prosecution, Justice AJ Desai also directed.
The Gandhinagar session was the court to end the experiment in four months.
In the plea guarantee, it was submitted through the Patel Prepared Advocate, Asaram was looking for assistance on the ground that he was over 80 years old and that his health deteriorated.
Patel sought guarantees for his clients who claimed there were no signs of any trial in the near future after the Gandhinagar session the court had not examined 22 to 24 witnesses, and citing the assessment of the Supreme Court from the past to claim the court could not accuse behind bars.
Public Prosecutor RC Kodekar objected and told the fact court the Asaram case was different from the cases quoted by his lawyer.
Kodekar said Asaram had been punished in the case of other rape and seven witnesses from this case had been attacked so far.
While the two witnesses died after the attack, the third was still missing.
In 2018, Asaram was sentenced to life imprisonment by a special court in Rajasthan for raping the minor in his ashram.
In Gujarat, two sisters based in the letter have submitted a separate complaint against Asaram and his son Narayan Sai, accused them of illegal rape and confinement.
The younger brother, in his complaint against Asaram, has accused him of repeated sexual attacks between 2001 and 2006 when he lives in Ashram in the Mothera area in Ahmedabad.
